Advice please

Postby Jezh » Sun Jun 11, 2017 8:32 am

Hi All

I have had my Mustang GT now for a month and loving it.

I have been on a few of the forums and looking in so to speak what people are doing.

Im looking to lower and probably at looking to put an exhaust on.

Im in the Kingston area and i have found Bill Shepherd http://www.billshepherdmustang.com

Has anyone used them for any work etc?

Cheers .
Jez

Hi, you're probably best asking 'Manders Mustang' or Mandy as we call him  he seems to be the expert

Ello,

Manders Mustang, not Maunders ;)!

Bill is well regarded, however very expensive, i've recently had the pleasure of driving the Wortec Exhaust V8 (I drive an Ecoboost), and the exhaust is heavenly on that, they're based in Milton keynes and they've been modding v8s (Monaro's, VXR8s and the likes) for years and years, their Exhaust can either have a loud or a quiet setting or have remote control valves fitted. So they're definitley worth a call they'd have my money for their exhaust.

As for lowering, the same company (Monkfish performance, owns wortec etc), are the main suppliers of Pedders extreme fully adjustable coilovers, i recently also had these on and they're amazing.

Honestly, give monkfish a call and they'll sort you out for both of them.

Hope this helps :)

Profusion not too far from you for exhausts (MagnaFlow dealer - Slough ). GT101 (Chelmsford) for Pedders etc.

No worries,

I've used Fortis a lot, great bunch of guys, they've done my rear window tints, rear light tints (red), rear sequentials and front DRLs + sequentials. I was funnily enough the first customer for both of the sequentials,. but since there's a lot more owners with them. But they look the nuts.

Easy to help

Suspension. Go pedders or kw and get eiback roll bars - better handling, set your on ride height and can fiddle with settings

Exhaust - nemesis very helpful

Wheels - try projex

I'm in the Kingston area as well. Borla Touring for me, sounds great no drone.
I have Steeda progressive springs and wheel spacers supplied and installed by Mike at Modurstang.
The money saved not going to Bill Shepherd you can spend on parts.
