I am not keen on keyless entry as it just makes your car easier to steal. I certainly would not pay extra or specify this "convenience". At home I keep my keys in a tin to block the key signal that thieves may try to grab with a signal booster. I have a Stoplock Pro additional steering lock which is a bit of a phaff to fit & I'm careful where I park.
Strange that Ford offer OBD port locks for Transits but not for cars. JW Racing have an OBD lock

You can now get Ghost Immobilisers for the S550 Mustang, can't find the link atm but, there's a company that'll do it which means you have to do different button presses to start the ignition. :rock

To my knowledge, no. But then again you rarely hear people go public with stolen car issues as insurance likes to keep it hush hush

I think the only concern with theft currently would be from joyriders.

Every other reason I know of to steal a car would want something a bit more subtle, like if a bolo goes out for a bright red mustang, its a lot easier to spot than a silver golf.

I get....well, the car gets videod/photo'd a fair bit....mostly by teenage boys - its a wierd experience I;m getting a bit used to.
