Just replaced ours 2 weeks ago, same as...........

No issues then dead after 7 1/2 years.

Well a happy ending for a change. AA man arrived plugged something it, check something else pottered around for a while and hey presto the B fired up and all is well. Said battery was in good shape.
After a brief investigation it was decide that some idiot [cough cough] must have knocked the interior light and thats what drained the battery.

Plonker, no one else has ever done that! Come to think of it, we could have suggested you might want to check that :?

Glad you're sorted, it is always satisfying to find the reason for a problem, however silly :D
