REMOVE PONY EMBLEM FROM FAUX GAS CAP

Postby tandy » Thu Mar 01, 2018 4:39 pm

Hi

I know there are lots of videos showing and instructing how to remove the rear faux gas cap on 2016 onwards models

But has anyone just removed the pony emblem only??? leaving the gas cap remaining???

THANK YOU :D

it leaves an imprint, it's been tried, it's not worth the hassle.

nope - got you on FB now so will discuss there! but easiest thing maybe to buy an american gas cap from an older model.

ie:

remove stock one, and put that one where the stocker was.

I've not really looked at this but surely if you want something non stock the best option is a bubble sticker replacement or am I missing something?

If you take a version of these bubble stickers http://www.mustangforum.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9796 with any design at the correct size and stick them over the space where the original badge was surely that would do the trick?
