GT500

Postby cati » Tue Jan 16, 2018 9:41 am

So semi reviewed last night

700 plus bhp with forced induction
Big wing
Styling changes but more 2015 plus than 2018 new
Looks like might have ceramic breakers
Some debate on cross plane versus normal coyote engine - most of advert seems cgi so not reading to much into the crank debate

Price guess it’s going to 911gts territory so 90k plus

Frankly thought I would want one but 730 seems bragging rights rather than Uber track car.. thoughts

I’m really hoping that both the 2018 model and the GT500 are at the Geneva motor show in March as I’m there working :D

You just don't get it do you Mandy?

The V8 'shits all over' anything with less cylinders even while it's idling. There are ricers with better stats than most Mustangs. Does that make them better?

Yes.    ;)

(I get it, it's just fun to bite back when V8s drop a "is an ecoboost" comment)

our little EB is eating at the V8 power table right now and with the current set of mods getting installed we will hopefully see a few more HPs bought to the table :butt

after that is engine out to make it stronger :hang

Hats off Jason. Really impressed by your changes/improvements/gains etc. Now, if you could just do a mod that added 'soul' you'd be on to a winner! ;)
