Winter Coat. Satin Black

Postby Quinny28 » Thu Nov 30, 2017 10:00 pm

Hi All,

Been a while since i've been on. Just thought i'd show you my S550s new wrap. The Nardo Grey is gone and now we have a 3m Satin Black with gloss black stripes. I've also painted all the skirts and grill in gloss black for contrast. Let me know your thoughts! Also since i was last on i've put on a borla s type axle back, steeda progressive springs and spacers and a GT350R steering wheel, all of which i'm really happy with.

Hi mate,

I think I paid around £500. I say around because I paid a package price (£2000) for my wrap, stripes and sprayed plastics. My normal wraps are usually around £1500 depending on the car. The painting of the plastics is a little harder than you might first think. Firstly obviously you have to factor the time it takes to take off and put back on the plastics. Also the mustang plastics have quite a deep grain in them which takes a lot of sanding and prep before painting. So £500 is actually a pretty decent price I’d say. I’ve seen other companies charging much more for the mustang. Hope this helps.

I have been quoted £750.00 to do the plastics in gloss black, thinking of doing the wheels and the plastics satin black now though.
