Yes yes. But what about this new mystery thing you'll be getting in the unlikely event of you unloading your Mustang during Yuletide?

Ohh right. Given I already have the aeroplane (a plane smooths wood ;) )

I hope it isn't unlikely, I have made the disconnect with it now so the sooner it goes the better. Lexus CT200h, the zero VED and lack of thirst means I get more money to spend on flying, ohh and a parachute so that I can further my aerobatics.

 very much so, but tbh since getting my licence 14 years ago the traffic has gone up massively, back then 9/10 I could have fun with a car. Now I'm happy if I see 50mph on my drive to work, and that drive includes about 6 miles of NSL dual and single carriageway. The drive to the airfield isn't much better, nearly all the NSL road is policed by average speed cameras and in the unlikely event that I actually get to 60mph (usually stuck behind 45mph dawdlers) it is still no fun, so I am ditching performance cars for something that does 50+ mpg and requires no VEL payment.

After all take the Mustang up into the moors and end up frustrated, or cruise to the airfield in Luxury and then strap myself into the Firefly. I'm going to do the latter.

It isn't just the Mustang, it's driving as a whole, it's gone from something I enjoy to a chore and tbh I am getting sick of paying £15 in fuel to trundle to the airfield and back behind some dodderer that can't manage more than 50mph in a 60 limit where there are about 3 overtaking opportunities and invariably there is oncoming traffic as it is a major trunk road, same goes for going to and from work.

And as I said, sure I could go for an early morning run out in the Mustang but then I am wasting time and fuel I could be spending flying, which is far more fun than driving is or ever was.

I could be fucking, which is far more fun than driving, but the two things are not mutually exclusive.

I'm gonna do both.

If Mrs. Badhand will let me...
