DIB, Fastback GT, Auto, Climate Controlled Seats, Sat Nav and Parking Sensors.

Will look a bit like this beastie, albeit UK-spec instead of US spec...

I'm not a fan of the silver wheels on the euro custom pack, so I added all the other stuff separately.

Y'know, I honestly don't think I've seen a DIB GT without the Custom Pack in the UK. If they're out there, they're hiding!

I considered it, but to me the chrome trim and nickel wheels really set it off. Went for a more stealthy track look last time, want something more elegant for the S550 (yes, I'm getting old :) )

To me, black wheels work much better with grey/red/yellow (to me) but one man's meat is another man's poison etc.

Guys, just reading my window sticker in more detail, it has the below;
- LED Taillamps w/ Sequential turn signal
- Sync 3
- Hood vents with turn signal

Now, apart from the hood vents with signal, which i've been told i should expect...not expecting the sequential signal or sync 3, based on this forum. How accurate is the window sticker :?:

If yours is a RHD UK spec car.....

No rear sequentials due to silly EU regs (Audi gets away with it as their new sequentials are effectly one bulb that "sweeps")
No hood vents with turn signals. Again, EU pedestrian crash regs

However, if yours is a '17MY (built after June 2nd) you WILL get Sync 3. If yours is built before then, you'll get Sync 2.

The window sticker isn't that accurate for us......it will say somewhere on it, something like "spec may change for export models"

The ETIS printout once updated after the car is built seems to list all of the items that were installed on the line. There's a huge list of "minor features" but it includes details about the electronics, interior, lighting, trim, wheels, brakes etc. that were fitted.

When Ford builds a car it produces a "Window Sticker" that has the specification, purchase price, US EPA efficiency and fuel economy figures and various other pieces of information. This is then attached to the windows of the car when it's shipped to a dealer, hence the name.

Here's an example (a random pic borrowed from Google).

You can lookup your own "window sticker" here...

Or if you're a 2007-2016 Mustang owner you can order a printed copy from Ford Show Parts. Similarly if you have a Shelby, Boss, Bullitt, SVT Cobra, Raptor or 2005/6 Ford GT you can order a printed certificate of authenticity too...

Nope.....but you can obviously print it out yourself if you don't want to get an "official" copy via the link Cookie posted above. Alternatively, if you're lucky, the guys on the production line will stuff the build sheet somewhere in your car. That's what they used to do back in the day and there are many stories of these being found under the back seats during restoration. Unfortunately, most of the build sheets will just be dumped :(

I was lucky and the previous owner of my S197 managed to get hold of it and it's now kept in the owner's manual.

How do you get your VIN number and at what stage is the window sticker available?

VIN comes 2 weeks before build/blend date usually
Window sticker comes 1 week before Build/blend date usually

Some vins have been released outside of this timeframe as they're usually released when the car is scheduled, the car can be rescheduled during this period, so some people have had their vins for a few weeks before window stickers and build dates occur.

I've just created a topic detailing the order process here:
