What have you done with your Mustang today?

Postby Twin Turbo » Mon Sep 28, 2015 12:22 pm

Here's a chance to tell us what you've been up to on a daily/weekly/monthly basis with your Mustang. Did you buy a new part? Did you take it on a road trip? Did you do a big smokey burnout? Did you wash it? (well, I've got to have something to tell you about :D )

So, c'mon, I'll start. I looked at it in the garage :D

Nothing yet, but... I've just received a parcel from the US with some goodies in it. Namely CPC colour coded bonnet struts for the Boss to replace the prop rod.

If I get time, I'll fit them tonight... :D

Nothing im afraid.

But I have thought about getting my new bonnet and looked at superchargers on the www.
I also have been considering the pros and cons of various types of bonnet pins.
Its all in the planning
I also thought that its about time I drove it as I have probably done less than 250 miles since xmas. Got mot booked for saturday and hopefully going to Goodwood breakfast club on sunday.

Opened the boot again to see it full of all the parts that I have not had the time to fit, removed parts and put them in the flat.

Drove to work, in the rain, the roads in Mallorca are super slippery in the wet so some sideways action!

November I move into my new house and have a double garage, then the modding recommences, cannot wait!

Not so much "what have I done with my Mustang today" (which is naff all) more like "what have you done with someone else's Mustang".........I fixed an S550 via the power of the internet. Seems the 'leccy window reset procedure is the same as an S197.......so I saved someone's '15 getting a wet interior.

GO ME :rock

:D

Will this modding bug ever leave? :D

Finally got around to putting in my Mustang Forum UK stickers. Why the delay? The old S197 forum stickers were stuck like.....er......glue, and I kept forgetting to buy one of those tile/glass/razor thingies. Finally bought one this week so, with the aid of Mrs TT's hairdryer, the old ones were finally binned!

Yesterday I got the stang mot'd and it passed  But to be fair I did help do it. Also got offered a job while I was there which was nice.

Went to goodwood for the v engined breakfast club. Was a really good morning out and was packed with cars.I parked on the circuit at the end of the start finish straight which was good and saved a massive queue for the car park etc.

Since new years day I had done iro 250 miles this year so it was nice to get out in the sunshine and dry roads for a drive
