New Car Bought But Not A Mustang!

Postby D17AVD » Mon Jun 19, 2017 10:11 am

So I've had a game plan in my mind for a while to sell the 05 this year and get myself a nice new GT for turning 50, however the current car isn't the car I wanted it to be, and the 18 model won't be here before I'm 51, so plan was ripped up and I've kept the 05, sold the Grand Cherokee, and bought a 17 plate Audi S3 saloon instead. I know it's not to everyone's taste, but it will do me for a couple of years and I'll try again with the Mustang for the 2020 model.

Is that the best you could do?   Seriously though, there's no point in going after a car that isn't what I wanted it to be, just because it's a Mustang. It's better to wait till the car has caught up with my expectations. And in the mean time I still have a beautiful Mustang to play in, and a daily driver that can actually totally hand it it's arse in a sling performance wise!

That's interesting, I've just gone from an S3 to a mustang. It is a little rocket. Super easy to drive.

I will hopefully get one in the future, it just wasn't right for me now. Besides, I'm finding it really hard to part with the one I have, had it since new nearly 12 years ago and I still love it.
