It doesn’t seem overly bad those prices.

Lol, should have guessed haha - sorry.

£45095 isn’t to bad for all the upgrades. As for the Recaro seats at an additional £1500, if any one can give me a valid reason why you would want these other than for racing, I think they are a pure rip off and waste of money. Besides, I like my heated / cooled seats

According to Top Gears report, a level two performance pack is on the horizon but not for a few months. I wonder how much this will be over here.

yeah, well that's two upgrades, you'd still have to pay for the nav system and all the other niggly things.

Recaros are lighter, some people perfer their feel, i do slide around a little on the stock seats, they're lovely, but i'm also not heated/cooled.

You can fit heated and cooling rods from stock into the recaros by the way ;)!

Level two performance pack? Sounds more like top ears shite reporting for the 'performance pack' which is expected around then. We still haven't got PP1/2/3 for the V8 or PP1 for the EB in the UK for MY15-17 yet!!

Well... Mag ride and A10 you aint getting on yours, they're far superior to what everyone can get from mods, you can get close to a mag ride, but not quite like it. A10 will just provide faster shifts etc.

The A10 with mag ride stock, willout 1/4mile a whippled V8 S550.1

I'm not saying get a s550.2. I personally dislike their looks but performance wise, they're another league entirley!

Haha, fair enough on the above.

I have no intention of modding the GT - when I get it. So I don't have to budget for any aftermarket goodies other than some furry pink dice as my dad keeps mentioning. I got the Cobb tune on the EB because the torque was quite flat in comparison on the stock.

The addition of the digital dash, DLR lights, 10 speed auto (A10 in Manders book  - I'm so not down with the kids. lol), mag-ride and that sexy quad tip exhaust with a volume dial it does it for me.

I also want some easier wheels to clean lol. I quite like the double 5 spoke ones so there's have been a lot of ticks for the 2018 model.

My only problem is I absolutely love the Ruby Red. In the sun, it is stunning. The other colour I would go to is Lightening Blue but not sure if I will be drawn back to Ruby Red.

I have never had two cars the same colour back to back and certainly not two cars of the same make / model. So the colour is a real issue as to whether I go for something else or stick with the same which doesn't seem right.

My other issue is I absolutely love my EB 14 months down the line. I wish my Fiancé would have it but she won't.

This is the best Christmas present I could hope for! Thank you :D

I am guessing Fords websites where you can build your car are dragging their feet.

Slowhand,

You have just ruined my Christmas. lol

I have just built my car and it comes up to £48035! I suppose it is to be expected. I'm a little gutted they are not offering the 20" premium painted ally wheels like on the American version. I love those wheels.

Still, I do intend to put everything on it other than the Recaro Seats

I expected them to be even higher to be honest. Replacing my GT Auto Vert comes in over £50k, that's 20% on what I paid for mine in 2016 but with notable additions like premium interior, active exhaust and magnaride. Moving away from the ethos of what makes a Mustang a Mustang for me though.

I think a lot of debate can be had as to what is considered DNA to the original Mustangs.

The evolution of Mustangs have changed somewhat. It has to to keep up with todays demands and expectations.

The fantastic extras they are offering on the 2018 model is inline with a competing market to make it appealing.

The digital dash is a massive marketing extra for me because the one in my MY16 is a little boring to look at. The active exhaust as well. Brilliant idea and as for the Magneride, I have it on the Evoque, not sure if you can really tell the difference but I would probably end up getting it.

Watching all the you tube videos I watch like a saddo, almost everyone says it looks better than what the original images suggested. The reviews for the car are massively positive.

As I have mentioned before, I am going to get one of these because, in time, petrol guzzlers will become a thing of the past and everyone will have Eco-drones as cars and given the 2020 model, that will probably be another 20% more and no doubt on top of higher car tax.

Put my name down for one - Kona Blue or Lightening Blue :? :kidra
