Well I'll be buggered. Them subtle design differences are starting to grow on me. Some of these new pics look alright. Not convinced they're not 3D renders though...

Plus there's some interesting techno stuff going on inside and underneath...

Hi Guys,

I'm rather concerned now!

Placed my order in October and have now seen this come out.....

What would you do?!?!

Ordered a 5.0 GT with everything except custom pack.

To anyone reading... My SPECULATION is that this isnt' going to hit UK Shores until 2018, probably march-June time. They're stating 'fall' for Europe, but expect us to be lagging behind, US will always have the large demand.

Im a month and 1/2 into ownership of my Mustang and it all feels very strange looking all over the internet find details of a new version.

Maybe it wouldn’t feel as bad if Id got some sort of cracking deal, like you would on other cars with confirmation of a facelift model coming out, but hey ho, I guess that’s the fun of being a Mustang owner and especially in the UK.

How will this work for UK Ford, will orders now stop until the order book of the 2018 is open? It must be weird still waiting for an order, knowing a newer one is on the way and also what will they do with the 2 special edition ones announced before Xmas. I know they were only pre spec’d modelled, but why bother Ford.

I like the look of the new car, the lowered front looks good, but the small (Well seem smaller) lights look a little odd. I think the back end, especially on my grabber blue, with the contrast rear valance, looks better on the 15-17 version and I prefer the look of the 2 exhaust pipes instead of quad. The spoilers neither here nor there as this can be easily put on.

In terms of inside, the digital read out is cool. I like my tech, but I bet after a month, this will just blend in and not really be an upgrade reason.

The engine sounds a nice upgrade, more power, more economy, less emissions. Not bothered on the 10 speed auto as I like it in manual, but I here that has been improved also.

It’s all very well drooling over the new spec, but the big question is when will we get it here, what’s options will the UK market get and how much will this be.

Regarding price, if it was a £45k car due to all the new bits, in quite high spec, I doubt my budget would have stretched that that anyway.

Here’s hoping for a price increase, to retain good residuals in the 15-17 model. (I’ve noticed today £600 has gone onto the V8 UK model already)

I think I am going to bite the bullet and stick with the MY17 that I have due for delivery, I just don't like the look of the new one, it is as simple as that. The garage shining some light on when it is actually going to be here would help though! So frustrating!

I know that this is a cardinal sin and can't quite believe what I am going to do myself. Maybe the fact the Roush exhaust is sitting in my garage already waiting has something to do with it.

I am just trying to work out what is the best way to approach this with the dealer. Aware I sent a deposit and an initial price back in October, but starting to wonder if the power is now in my hands with getting a deal? Thoughts?

Are you talking to Karen and Stacey on mustang@ford.com ? Dealers know squat.

Totally agree. The s550 looks great. This one took that nice fresh look at ruined it. I'll start working with the body kit companies to start coming up with ideas.
