Hi everyone,

Ordered a 2017 Magnetic Ecoboost last Saturday, hoping to take delivery in 2 to 3 weeks and can't wait.

Contemplated the V8 but couldn't justify the fuel costs given this will be my every day car, 80% town driving/20% motorway, but no regrets as the EB is plenty enough for now and I can look forward to the V8 in a few years time 8-)

One question, how easy is it to diy install Front Parking Sensors? Anyone done it?

Mike

Welcome and congratulations on the new 'Stang!

Front parking sensors?

Don't worry. You'll get used to the hood. If not, think of it as practice for when you get the proper one. ;)

Ford used to have front parking sensors as an option, (aftermarket kind of ford offering), but no longer do, honestly you don't need them, I've found in tight situations using the lights reflection off other cars or objects to gauge distance better than eyes, but equally if you bring the seat up slightly on the support you should be able to see just when the hood drops, which gives you a good 30cm of unknown space which you can just guesttimate away.

I went from having a corsa and yaris prior, so, I've gone from lil to big :P

Thanks for the tips, I'll see how I get on without. Guess I've been spoiled and become lazy

Oh to be 20 again.

25 years on the road, 14 cars and all of them sensible family saloon's or rep-mobiles.

Looking forward to picking up the stang on Saturday, time for a bit of fun, and probably points ;)

Maybe in a few months, last time I drove 300+ horses rear wheel drive it was far too easy to end up facing backwards on the slip roads or roundabouts.

Not done a lot of research yet on mods, but already seem some gizmo's to plug in and give it a boost!

Any recommendations what should come first?

Lower it.

Ditch or destroy the P-Zeros.

Get some nice wheels.
