Re: mustang, supercharger, turbo or pro charger or naturally aspirated

I fitted a tvs type supercharger to my s197 last year. Its great fun and instant torque which i prefer to the turbo or pro charger type of power delivery. But thats probably a very personal thing. If you can get a drive or passenger ride of the different choices that will probably decide for you. As...

Re: Back in the saddle with another Mustang!

I have a set of 17" bullitt wheels and old tyres which would look lovely and it would feel like it has lots of power as they will spin everywhere! My exhaust has no silencers. Just a bit of pipe. Maybe something you could knock up on the cheap. It is loud though! Cant see the pics by ...

Re: MFUK Project car 'Hellraiser' - The build thread.

Looking good  Struts can be a pain. The car/body shell is usually designed around them, and not as flexible as a wishbone set up. Especially for a "fun" car. For some reason i have started receiving notifications about updates on this thread again  so all is good in the w...

Re: S197 head unit wiring

Mine does the same thing. I have got used to it now, infact had forgotten till i read this  I guess a permanent live to power it would work, but could flatten the battery if it uses power as they are meant to be powered off. Or a timer relay which would get a bit involved. I have not looked...

Re: Help a retard

Thanks  I recall using photobucket ages ago but it was the attachment bit in the profile which was confusing me. What idiot decided that the instructions to post pictures/photos would be in the photos section! I mean really! What kind of forum are you running here  I looked in all ...

Re: New Battery Reccomendations.

I must admit I'm amazed we're still using the same type of batteries that were on cars 100 years ago more or less. Must be a good reason for it I suppose I have used the "race" batteries before and they are smaller and lighter, but the main reason was you can mount them any way ie upside ...
