Re: 2007 mustang light conversion

Cruise control works fine. As does everything else.

There has always been a fault code for brake lights/switch (cant recall which) and i assumed this was because the load on the switch was different due to light conversion. But its never put a fault light on or caused a problem.

Re: 2007 mustang light conversion

Thanks mr monkey  I have had a good look everywhere and can only find a relay under the bonnet (rear fog), extra brake light wire direct from the switch to rear lights(the only extra wiring from front to back) and the wing repeaters joined in from the front indicators. The added rear indica...

2007 mustang light conversion

Just doing a few electrical bits to my car and assumed i would see where the lights had been converted for the uk, but have not seen anything which looks non oe apart from 1 relay under the bonnet.

Anyone know any of the common ways they were done and if its visible anywhere?

Re: Mustang Bulbs - Full list for reference

What bulbs were you after?
Typing the bulb number into ebay brings up the correct ones in the few i tried.

I got some led ones from rock auto and they were listed by bulb type ie stop lamp etc as well as by number

Re: Auto transmition..

I have a 2005 auto and the fluid has to be changed every 30 000 miles (it's in the user manual) , and also the filter inside the pan . The only thing is that you fill it by the drain plug and the level is checked engine on . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SKnuSPn6QQ Be wary, the service manual fo...

Re: Auto transmition..

A lot of auto boxes are meant to be sealed for life but thats to make the servicing costs look better :o Well worth changing fluid and filters if they are fitted. I have owned a few autos over the yeaes and always change the fluid on a regular basis. Often noticing a difference in the gearchanges et...
