Re: Ford Mustang Bullitt

Anybody know the sales release date for the 1st 2018 Bullitts?

Im after a rear badge but as the car isn't launched yet Im struggling to find anything

Whilst Im asking daft questions, anyone found a good Ford genuine part number finder - Fords which doesnt need a VIN online?

Cheers

Re: Condensation in S550 rear lights

I have to agree with your definition Mandy about light units 'misting' versus one with drops of water. However I have pukka water droplets, Uncle Henry Ford has walked away. The fault doesn't seem to occur on 100% of cars - a few rants over misted headlights on this site state their rears are OK, &a...

Condensation in S550 rear lights

Anyone else suffer from condensation in their rear lights? I have misting in both LH & RH units whenever it rains or I wash the car. It does evaporate (eventually as theres no heat in LEDs). Ford UK customer service have been zero use and told me that its the 'design intent' of the car. Really? ...

Re: Wheel size S550 with Brembos

Showing my age here but I had issues with spacers back in the 70s on an escort mk2. And that weighed as much as an empty crisp packet. Really don’t want to lose a wheel on the Muzzie For sure Chinese parts aren’t tested the same way as genuine parts (if at all) but NO aftermarket wheel will be, even...

Re: Wheel size S550 with Brembos

Thanks for your replies though I can’t say either option appeals. The genuine Ford parts do look the dogs but I can’t begin to think of the retail cost, plus shipping plus duty... And spacers are a poor engineering solution. Best case is reduced bearing life, worst case is catastrophic failure leadi...

Wheel size S550 with Brembos

Newbie here so please enlighten me. From a little googling, I think S550 GT 19” rim is 9” wide with 42mm offset. Right???? I’m after some old skool 5 spokes (bullitt style torq thrust etc) but I can’t find anything in this size. Is the Brembo set up the same on a S197? Did S197s come with 18” rims? ...

Re: The new ride

I did ponder over that question. The eco is a tremendous work of engineering, and if you're doing any kind of serious annual mileage, undoubtedly its the sensible choice. But my mate summed it this way. Whenever someone asks 'what car do you drive', & you say a Mustang, the next question is alwa...

The new ride

Hi all, just wanted to say Hello. After seeing the videos of the 2019 Bullitt reveal in the Detroit show, I thought 'I have to have one'. I contacted Ford UK who were of zero use. No plans to import it to the UK, no commitments, no pre orders, what a missed marketing opportunity IMO TBH even if Ford...
