Re: michelins vs pirelli

I did not trust the Pirelli summer tyres for a powerful car in the winter so fitted Nokian winter tyres. If you live in Kent & all the roads you drive are gritted perhaps the original tyres are fine. Not so in Scotland & many roads I drive are untreated. There are plenty of videos showing th...

Re: MY 2018 OTR prices

Supersolo there is a heated seat option they are also cooled. I ordered with this option but it came without, as compensation I got a free first service. As leather seats can be cold or hot in different seasons I bought goat skin to go on the seat for about £45.

Re: Dash Cams

It won’t be long before they make dash cams front/ rear & sideways facing and a black box fitted as standard. #boringdriving - it’s just a few miles away ! I think its on a Citroen C3 where a dashcam is standard equipment so Big Brother is already here. I dont want to be monitored 24/7 so will ...

Re: MY 2018 OTR prices

Quick clear is the windshield with an electrical heating element placed within the lamination of the windshield. Look closely at the windshield in, say, an RS and you'll probably see the fine wiggley lines of the heating element. I've had quick clear on all my Mondeo and after the snow we've just h...

Re: Ford Mustang - Rear Bumper Issue

My car was delivered June 2016. I dont think my Mustang is poor quality, what else can you get with similar performance or price? Of course a Bentley is built better than a Mustang but it should be for the price difference. A failing part should be acknowledged by the dealer & fixed. It makes no...

Richard

If not sold consider taking the mods off, many will not consider a moded car.

Re: Tyres/Alloys

I have another set of standard alloys with Nokian WR A4 winter tyres fitted, they are excellent giving much more confidence in winter conditions. The tyre supplier used their own TPMS sensors reading the codes off the existing set & calibrating accordingly. Mark with corner when swapping over. I...

Re: Ford Mustang - Rear Bumper Issue

Untill it was brought to my attention I never noticed a problem, on mine the the gap is fractionally wider on the right than the left. Overall the build quality id good with even panel gaps even if not very tight.

Re: michelins vs pirelli

I have no complaints with the Pirellis but have never tried a Michelin shod car. With only 4k miles I'm not about to bin them. I'll be refitting my second wheel set soon with Nokian WR A4 winter tyres.

Re: Mustang interiors sixth gen onwards

I agree the hand brake is on the wrong side (at least it has one). I dont think the cup holders would be usable with a manual even from LH seat. It matters not to me never having used such a device. One thing bugs me is the high beam warning which is often hidden by tacho needle, I thinks it quite i...

Re: Detailed Order Process (UK - S550)

I've just had a look at the Window Sticker on Research Maniacs & it does not completely tally. I dont have Sirius radio (US only) nor Sync 3 only Sync 2. Where is the universal garage door opener to be found, on the key, if so not mine? The car does not have hood vents ( not european spec) , nor...

If you are happy with the car that's great. You can get a Garmin or Tomtom with better functions & lifetime updates for under 1/4 of the cost of the factory system.

Re: Sat Nav

If its a UK model & has the Shaker sound its sat nav enabled as they were an option together. A nav SD card should get it working. Get one of ebay , not £250 from Ford. They are upto version 6. A bit late now but the seller should have sorted it for you if it was sold as custom pack.
