Re: Engine break in?

Hi there and welcome Had my GT for nearly three weeks and completed 400 miles. The handbook with the car said be very careful for the first 100 miles to scrub the tyres off - others on the Forum will advise changing the tyres that come with the car but that for me is in the future. And for the first...

Re: Berkshire Meet - July 2017

I am now one week into ownership of my new car. I spec'd it so that it has the black wheels and window trim rather than the chrome ones. But it came with the chrome 5.0 badges. I noticed that some of the photos of the cars attending the meet show them with black 5.0 badges. Which look much better im...

Re: My Order Timeline

Final update to give those interested an indication of the order times I experienced. You will know from previous posts my car arrived in Zeebruge on May 21st. And there it sat until July 15th when it was moved to Southampton. Nobody explained why, although from posts on the Forum I know there will ...

Re: Please report any bugs or suggestions

Picking up my new car on Wenesday next week. I will do a final update of "my order time line" so others can judge how their order is going against my experience. In the meantime I updated my profile to show a 2016 car. I hope it is a 2017 build of course but I can't find that tab. Not comp...

Re: V5, checking previous owners

It might be worth calling DVLA to get their view on whether or not the information on the V5 is covered by Data Protection and should not be shared with you by the dealer? And another thought .......... if the car is nearly new it would be unusual for it to have more than a couple of owners wouldn't...

Re: Please report any bugs or suggestions

Hi

I might have missed it but I don't think the site allows me to record the year of my Mustang as 2017. I think the most recent option is 2016.

And since it looks as though I might be taking delivery in the not too distant future - heard that before Ian - can the site be updated?

Thanks

Ian

Re: New Owner Newmarket

Glad to hear you are enjoying the new car. Do you happen to know which boat your car came across on and/or when it arrived in Zeebrugge? I ask because my car has been in Zeebrugge for more than six weeks - having been unloaded on 21 May - so if yours arrived after mine, or at the same time, I will f...

Re: My Order Timeline

Despite my optimism of a month ago I have to tell you that my car is still in Zeebrugge. So from the build date, to transport to Baltimore, to cross the Atlantic, to off-load in Zeebrugge took a month. And from off-load to now another month!! I understand there is final/Europrean prep to be done plu...

Re: My Order Timeline

Without wishing to jinx the matter ........ more good news. After being built on 20 April the car moved to Baltimore and onto the vessel Figaro. This ship is due into Zeebruge on 21 May. One month from build to arrival in Europe I am very happy with. :D And as ever Karen has been providing accurate ...

Seen in South London SW16

Black 16 reg Mustang parked up outside Railway pub in SW16 on evening Friday 21st April. First one I have seen in my neck of the woods.

Ring any bells anyone - or am I dropping someone in it ? :D

Re: My Order Timeline

Quick update as follows ................ According to the Window Sticker today is the day my car is created on the assembly line by some nice men in Flatrock. Hopefully they are sleeping well at the moment and wake up ready to go to the factory and screw the right bits to each other!! Yep, I am star...

Re: Getting impatient

Evening people I am in the same queue but have had a good experience to date. Karen and Stacey have provided the VIN, at first time of asking, and using that I now have the "window sticker" which gives a build date of 19th April. All the steps in the post "Detailed Order Process"...

My Order Timeline

Thought some of you might be interested in my order timeline - or what I hope will be the timeline. Order date 30 December 2016 Order number advised on 8 March 2017 - thank you Karen/Stacey Build date 17 April as advised by dealer. Which seems unlikely given that is Easter Monday. So I will ask Kare...
