Re: Auto dimming mirror does not dim enough?

After a bit of light Googling, it seems that many people, i all kinds of cars, have a problem with auto dimming mirrors. General consensus seems to be: they never dim enough or at the right time, and are best avoided. I put black insulating tape over the front sensor. Now the mirrir switches to maxi...

Re: Fitted Front Sensors?

Sorry about the necropost. I have the front parking sensors fitted to my MY17 GT. Have picture but don't know how to upload images to this site. I can't recommend the sensors unfortunately. When you start the engine in the morniing, it starts beeping if you are anywhere near a wall, although you can...

Auto dimming mirror does not dim enough?

I recently bought a MY17 GT and it has an auto dimming central mirror. When driving at night, it dims automatically, at the same time making headlights of following vehicles look a bit green. The problem is it doesn't dim enough, and night driving becomes quite wearing due to dazzle from other cars....

Re: Mustang 2016 Sync3 and getting it to work optimally

What version of Sync 3 are you running? My MY17 is on version 2.0, build 16074. Version 2.2 is available, but only in the USA (?) Sync 3 voice and audio is great but navigation is a bit of a work in progress, at least on v 2.0. One notable omission. It is not possible to display traffic incident ico...

Re: Vertically challenged, door mirror issue?

I'm 5'7", same problem. The pedals are too far away -> I put the seat forward -> passenger mirror does not angle enough. Just barely usable.

Re: Missed 1st Service by 1 Month, Warranty Implications!!

What is the service interval for a 2016/2017 Mustang GT ? No service booklet with mine, and Google doesn't seem to kow.

On topic, I'm no expert but a slightly late service would not seem an unikely cause of warranty issues. Especially the first service.

Re: Auto gearbox on GT

I test drove a manual. It is hideously over geared for the car, close ratio box it certainly is not. Who on earth needs a sixth gear with such tall gearing? I ordered the auto. That long 6th is getting me 27 - 28 mpg, thanks to a "smart morotway" commute. Combined with the car's ability t...

Re: Unboxing - what's in the box?

Lol. The front parking sensor only activates if you remember to switch it on before parking, so it's all but useless. Forget to press that little button near your right kneecap, and will silently watch you drive into a wall. If Ford installed this, it was purely for the banter.

Re: Unboxing - what's in the box?

Hmm. Front parking sensors starting to feel a bit after-markety: - don't seem to work properly - not mentioned in the manual - not mentioned in the in-car settings - not mentioned on the Internet except as after-market - the switch is a bit shonky, and in an odd place - nobody in here recognises the...

Re: Unboxing - what's in the box?

Thanks, I will be very certain to obtain the second key, and not leave it floating aound in the wild. Re parking sensors, this is what I have: - rear parking camera - front parking sensors that go "beep" - an on/off switch for the beeping located on the silver bit of the fascia, to the rig...

Re: Unboxing - what's in the box?

Thanks guys. Apart from the nice-to-haves (mug, keyring, USB drive), it looks like I am missing - spare key - glove box key as well as the manuals/service book. My electronic key can be opened and contains the metal key, as described above. While I've got your attention, how do the front parking sen...

Unboxing - what's in the box?

'Afternoon, Picked up a nearly new GT last week. Lovely. However, all that came with the car was one large key. What else comes with a new Mustang ? I would like to know what is missing. The garage are going to forward a spare key, so that will make 2. However the manual I downloaded from the Intern...

Some mistake ?

M235 = 321 bhp

Mustang GT = 415 bhp
