Re: Square One

Allan, I used Trust Ford in Warrington. My experience overall wasn't great however on reflection, much of that was down to my own circumstances. I got some incorrect information from them which there should be no excuse for but with a quick email to Mustang@ford.com I was given the correct info and ...

Re: MattMoxon's Mustang GT Evolution

Glad to hear that you decided against selling the Mustang, when you put so much time and effort into making A car into YOUR car its always going to be hard to let it go. Having said that if you are going to turn hard earned money into a hefty fuel bill then AVGAS is the way to go and I know from exp...

Re: Not long now

Im not sure but it was in the UK approx 10 days after it arrived in Zeebrugge, it just took a long time to get from Southampton to the dealer despite me putting a huge amount of pressure on anybody that I thought could help. I never did find out what the hold up was but hopefully it was just a short...

Re: Not long now

Hopefully you get it very soon however just a word of warning, my car still took almost 2 months to get to me after it arrived in Europe. Fingers crossed that my experience is a one off and it won't be the same in your case.

Re: Mustang Dealers!

After all of my moaning I was fortunate that work plans changed which gave me more time in the UK and made it possible to complete my purchase. To be fair to the dealer, once it had arrived to them they spotted some damage to the front splitter and within 48 hours they had ordered and fitted a whole...

Re: Mustang Dealers!

So after extending my time in the UK for a week so that I could be around to take delivery of the car the garage has just informed me that they have no idea when the car will get to them. Apparently it is sitting in Liverpool, just 12 miles from my dealer and they can not get a transporter to delive...

Re: Mustang Dealers!

I may have engineered myself an extra 3-4 days in the UK so fingers crossed this will be enough time for them to get their sh*t together and get the car to me. If not then I will cancel the order and decide my next step later. After reading of several others who have had problems with dealers it has...

Re: Mustang Dealers!

That's pretty sh!tty service. Feel for ya. But if you want me to pick it up and 'look after it' for 2 months, I really don't mind. :) Strangely enough Ive had the same offer by a few people already but after giving it some though I came to the conclusion that I would rather smash my own testicles w...

Re: Avoid VOSPERS in Exeter

That is terrible service but sadly one that I can identify with and I'm hearing of more and more horror stories due to poor/incompetent dealers.

Mustang Dealers!

So far my dealer (Trust Ford Warrington) has been absolutely useless. After months of contradicting information like an email in January to say that my car is now in production only to receive an email in February to say that my car would be built in April (After emailing Stacy I found that my car h...

Re: What price for 2016 GT alloys

I saw a set for sale recently, although I can't remember where. They were £1000 and came with good tyres (Pirelli) according to the description. If I come across them again I will post a link.

Re: New member from Wigan

I have received an update on my car to tell me that it is in Zebrugge and should be ready for collection toward the end of this month which is great to hear although I will need them to hold onto it for a couple of weeks as Im out of the country until mid May. I went along for my GT500 drive a few w...

If yours is/was onboard the Tijuca it should have arrived already in Zeebruge. It appears my car was taken of the ship 25/03/17.

Hi Steve,

Welcome. I truly hope that Tijuca is still afloat, as my car is also on board (Also a Magnetic GT, great choice!). Hopefully the next 5 weeks passes quickly for the sake of my sanity.
