Re: Possibly selling my 09 V6 - Any interest?

Yeah the plate can stay if someone wants it.

It's hard to price as there's not many (if any) 2009 Grabber Orange V6 models around. Ideally I would like £10.5k.

The upgrades and extras I can include alone are at least worth £2k-£2.5k. :)

Possibly selling my 09 V6 - Any interest?

Hey all. It is paining me to write this post but is anyone interest in purchasing a 09 V6 Mustang? I am going away for a few months and leaving her on the drive seems like a waste. Plus the money will be handy. She's got around 35,000 miles on the clock and I've carried out a whole load of work to h...

I'd bite your hand off for this if I wasn't away! Hopefully somebody will take up this great offer.

Re: What else can go wrong?

 I decided to give the Thread Chaser another go this morning. Took it nice and slow, using a spanner instead of a ratchet to turn it, and I'm pleased to say it worked a treat! Spark Plug number 3 is in and the all new ignition is a dream! :rock Now I don't want to touch anything on it ever agai...

What else can go wrong?

Hey all. With Mr. badhand bemoaning the quietness of the forums recently ;) , I thought I'd "entertain" you with the last few weeks of dealing with my S197. As I do all my work on the drive, winter is not the best time for tinkering with cars, so it's only the last few weeks I've been gett...

Re: Recommended S197 upgrades

Thanks all. Some great ideas here. I think handling and brakes are they main ones to start with. No idea where to start so any recommendations on what to get? My budget is probably £1k for both but, as I'm unsure of whether that's enough, I'll spend a bit more if needed. Obviously if cheaper will do...

Re: Recommended S197 upgrades

No major ones really (aside from the attempted shifter replacement). All aesthetic/service stuff so far.

Got the bits for a new ignition coil/leads/spark plugs, but was thinking I'll leave them until later.

Recommended S197 upgrades

Howdy peeps! With winter setting in, the Mustang gets used less and less, so I'm using the time to carry out some work. Can anybody recommend some upgrades/work that I should definitely carry out on my S197? Any work will take place on my driveway, so it can't be too heavy duty, but I have ramps and...

Insurance with Advance Insurance Agencies Ltd

Just a heads up for anybody looking to insure their import car (or anything else) with the broker "Advance Insurance Agencies Ltd": They charge you their commission if you cancel before the term ends. Wanted £135 for cancelling 43 days in (SORN'd the Mustang for the winter to do work on it...

TCI Street Fighter Ratchet Shifter 09 V6 Issue

Hi all, I've followed the installation instructions for this shifter to the letter multiple times and seem to be getting an issue where the shifter doesn't line up with the gears. The car thinks it's in Reverse whilst in Neutral and Neutral whilst in Drive. Does anybody have any experience with this...

Looking for any car sprayer/painter recommendations

Hey all,

Looking to get a new front bumper cover for my S197 painted in Grabber Orange.

Does anyone have any recommendations of people who can do this in the London/South East or Bristol areas?
