Re: New Owner Exhaust Advise

I suppose it depends how much noise you want and how much you are happy to spend? You can start with just an axle back, then resonator delete and finally replacement headers, or go full in straight away. I went with Roush Axle back and it's perfect for me. I do want to get rid of the resonator and c...

M6 Potholes - Burst tyre

SO I was heading South on the M6 roadworks between 17 and 16 on Friday when I hit a pothole in lane 2, approximately 2 miles North of Jctn 16 on the Southbound carriageway. The drivers side tyre immediately punctured and rapidly deflated, I got off the carriageway safely, but couldn't even do a temp...

Re: michelins vs pirelli

I quite like the pirellis, they give good feedback and are controllable, I've never really got on with Michelin's historically.

I do admit they spin up quite easy, but any slides have been really easy to control.

Re: Activated Tri Bar DRL's & Sequencers

I've spoken to Mick and he has a range of options now, should be seeing him in January to get mine done.

Re: Roush Axle Back Exhaust - S550

I live in a small village, so didn't want to be too noisy either, the Roush has increased it, but not too much. I think the X-Pipe might be too much though.

The one that is modulated in some way might be the option I eventually go.

Re: Activated Tri Bar DRL's & Sequencers

Thanks mate, they do look good.

I contacted Mick and discussed all the options, he's doing some cool stuff with the lights.

Re: Roush Axle Back Exhaust - S550

I would definitely recommend it for someone who wants a bit more character without the extreme nature of some of the systems. I will eventually do a X pipe fit too, my concern is that it might be too loud then. I have seen a resonator delete system which is not as loud as a straight x-pipe. Anyone e...

Roush Axle Back Exhaust - S550

Hey guys, just wanted to report on a new Axle back I fitted, how I got it and costs. I was in the market for a bit more character from my exhaust, but didn't want a horrendously loud one because I live in a small village and hate the drone on long journeys. I listened to a few different Axle back ve...

Re: Carbon Is Complete

I think it looks great, huge improvement.

Just a couple of questions though... How did you know how to take the parts off? Was it relatively easy? Are there any specialist tools required? Did you use a guide from somewhere?

Re: The Grand Tour Episode 6

I like it, I don't mind the scripting, I quite like the deliberate fingers up to PC nonsense. I thought this episode was very good, especially the peice on the GT40 and Le Mans and the Mustang had a favourable showing too. If you don't like it, that's okay as well, Im not a fanboy and won't judge yo...
