Re: MFUK Hoodies. Orders in by 1st November!

You're suggesting licencing the brand! Great idea, but no, I couldn't. Can you imagine the tat someone like TT would produce?! MFUK tea towels and underpants... I'd just die inside every time I saw something reproduced on the wrong product in the wrong colour at the wrong size. I know this ai...

Seriously, you do not need the hassle of dealing with that bloke... And I'm never going to again.

BUT, I may have an answer. Stay tuned....

Re: Fitted Front Sensors?

My Grandad had the Ford ones fitted to his new Focus as he insisted he needed them. The factory rears are good, and include a diagram on the dash with distance etc and work seamlessly with the car. The fronts however had a switch on the side of the centre console that needed to be manually switched ...

Re: VPN info...

Are you looking for VPN client to connect to a corporate network, or are you looking for a VPN service for "privacy"/geoblock circumvention? If you're looking for a service, stay well clear of HOLA, they get you around geoblocks by exiting you through another clients connection. Your conne...

Re: How to post pictures

Putting your own pictures on Photobucket is the best approach, I can then post all of my car photos on all of the forums I frequent I actually find it easier to manage :)

Re: S550 Wheels on an S197

If it's the underbody underspray, that's applied well after the car is built (in Zeebrugge in fact). So will sit on top of the lacquer. I'll be taking my wheels off to check over the weekend. It's a common problem as the underseal spraying appears to be a a very shoddy process. The wheels look grea...

Re: S550 Wheels on an S197

Reading the other thread, I suspect the same, that the over spray has occurred before before being lacquered. It's minimal and I only really saw it as I was in there up close and personal with Poor Boys Wheel Sealant before they went on the car.

Roo, pinged you a PM with details.

S550 Wheels on an S197

I checked the web for pictures, but struggled to find any, so I thought I would post mine up. Someone contacted me with one of those deals you would be stupid to turn down, so I have a set of brand new silver S550 wheels, with only delivery mileage on them. Re: New S550 - couple of imperfections

2. The two rear alloys (silver multi-spoke) have a lot of black specs over them. It looks like someone has been spraying something black nearby and these alloys have caught the mist of paint in the air. In some areas its thicker than others. I just fitted silver S550 wheels to my S197. These too ha...

Re: Spacers - good idea or not?

For smaller spacers I agree. For larger spacers - 25mm+ longer studs then become the weak point. In fact I spoke to a guy recently whose longer studs on an SN95 sheared. Mine personally are Hub-centric, Wheel-centric turned billet aluminium And are perfectly balanced. (balanced the wheels, then bolt...

Re: Spacers - good idea or not?

I have 25mm spaces on my S197. It's no different than using wheels of a different offset. Makes a big visual impact though.

You should get the type that bolt to the hub, then the wheel bolts to the spacer. Not the type that have longer replacement studs and a spacer loosely over the top.
