Re: MY2018 front end

Seems to be predominantly due to airflow reasons as much as anything, stops the front end from wanting to wander at speed. I actually prefer it having seen the difference a number of times and like any face-lift changes there`s tweaks that take some getting used to, another thing positive for me pe...

Re: Mustang Only Track Day DATE CHANGE 16/07/18

BUMP! Still tickets left! At the risk of sounding boring, this is going to be a rare occasion to get out and drive your car like it should be driven. If you are a trackday newb and unsure about what goes on and that's putting you off, here's my guide to what to expect: TRACK DAY TIMETABLE Times may ...

Such words of wisdom from one so young!

You're right of course.

I could roller it in plasti-dip? Or maybe leave it Windy blue.... :|

Re: The new ride

Hi all, just wanted to say Hello. After seeing the videos of the 2019 Bullitt reveal in the Detroit show, I thought 'I have to have one'. I contacted Ford UK who were of zero use. No plans to import it to the UK, no commitments, no pre orders, what a missed marketing opportunity IMO TBH even if For...

Re: MFUK Project car 'Hellraiser' - The build thread.

Some news at last from Spanner Monkey Island! Looks like the idle beast has got off his big blue arse and started fiddling with metal instead of his balls... It's 3mm mild steel with an anti-corrosion coating apparently. https://i.imgur.com/SpdVrgY.jpg Anyway, the 4 shapes on this chunk are the fron...

I can vouch that sounds good.

Have you considered cut outs? Kind on neighbours then loud as f@ck when you want it.... Like a ladyboy - best of both worlds!

Re: Project Bang4Buck – budget build S197 daily/track car

Plasti-dipped the spoiler and badges this weekend. The thing I learnt here was this stuff likes to be warm. I was spraying in cati's barn. It was colder than a well-digger's arse in there so we put the blower on to warm up the spoiler a bit. I put the Plasti-dip cans in a bucket of hot water to brin...

Re: What have you done with your Mustang today?

Used some plasti-dip and some Grillcraft MX series grills to delete the pony and spots and tidy up the unpainted CDC chin spoiler to turn this: https://i.imgur.com/vCs3t2L.jpg Into this: https://i.imgur.com/qZF14wN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/sydIF5f.jpg

Re: MFUK Project car 'Hellraiser' - The build thread.

While that pesky Spanner Monkey sorts out his shit, I've been researching more stuff. I've mentioned way back that one of my/our problems is the gearbox. We have the spanking new Tremec, but whilst that's fine for Nic, I have a disability which makes manual changes a bit of a pain. We've toyed with ...
