Re: First car advice for my soon to be 17yr old daughter

You are right it is a minefield, I know a few people who recently started driving though, and can offer some advice. A lot of the loop holes that I exploited as a youngster (7 years ago) have now been closed, and even at the age of 25 I am getting a bit grief looking for car insurance :-( Smallest i...

Re: 2005 GT Redfire - £10.5k

Thanks mate, knew 10k was the real value to be honest, and if it hadn't sold for that I was going to do a swap with a 71 soft top I looked at recently, but happier with cash sale. Reckon I lost around £1k a year which to be honest is nothing for owning and driving such a fantastic car... as some kno...

Re: 2005 GT Redfire - now £10k

Last time I will be dropping the price, if it is gone in the next two weeks £10k as I do not want to renew my insurance with an American car specialist.

Insane value at £10,000 that's V6 money 8-)

Re: 2005 GT Redfire - £11k

Thought about Moaners but I think people always get a bit suspect if folk sign up just to sell something, especially anything ...

Re: Notchy gearbox on the S197........I have found out why!!!

Never had a problem with the notchy box on mine. I found the stock knob a bit big and clumsy (haha) so swapped to a pool ball type which sits nicely in the palm of your hand.

The spacer your talking about, is that what rattles on cold starts? Find that a bit irritating
