Re: Hi Everyone

Hi Bob, welcome! Most Ford dealers who can sell RHD Mustangs have a demonstrator (or two) you can go and see, or there's some who have cancelled orders. Believe it or not a good way to find out if there's any locally might be to trawl autotrader or eBay classifieds online to give you an idea what's ...

Re: Berkshire Meet - Saturday 16th July 2016

Good turnout, typical really the weather was cracking. Shame I was busy sweating and swearing underneath a '66 coupe putting the C4 box back in. Think I must have my priorities wrong somewhere...

Re: 2013-2014 headlights conversion

AFAIK the only difference between the '11-'12 HID lamps and the '13-'14 HIDs is the backing colour and the LED DRL strips. The conversion on an '11 Shelby is probably plug & play affair, except for the LED DRLs, if you wished them to function like a '13-'14 model you'd probably have to make some...

Re: 1967 Mustang steering column

The steering wheel actually has movement up and down and not play in the steering. Late last year when I got the car the steering was horrific and least to say dangerous so I purchased a new steering box, pitman arm etc and wheels were aligned and resolved this problem and now steers as it should. ...

I love those wheels on the S550, very similar to the ones on the Shelby GT too. 8-)

Re: 1967 Mustang steering column

I know a man that'll know............Cookie, this thread needs you! :ugeek: Thanks... I think... :geek: My 1967 289 Mustang is due its MOT and I have been told that it will fail due to movement in the steering column. My mechanic has told me it needs a new top bushing but cj pony tells me it doesn'...

Re: Johnny Gets a Pony

I have waited a long time for this. I don't mean the six months from order - I mean the 35 years from falling for Mustangs as a teenager watching films like Bullitt and Diamonds Are Forever to actually half a step away from having my own in my garage. I remember that day, wait until you see it for ...

Re: It's here...

31mpg? are you really pushing it or is it driving miss daisy TT style? come on get the MPG down in the teens and give it a burn.... As it'd only done virtually no miles when we collected it, we did the first 100 or so gingerly, but last night I took it for a little jaunt and was a little mean to it...

Re: It's here...

Some further thoughts, now I've actually been able to get a bit more seat time... :D I have to say, the GT Auto is a great mix between daily driver convenience and a true performance car. In this regard it's a bit like Jekyll and Hide, having an almost split personality. It can be quiet, docile and ...

Re: Anubis's s550 upgrade thread

Looks evil...

Can't beat the old classic colour combinations. Black and Red really works, I remember seeing all of the old 80's Mk.4 Escort XR3i's in those colours and thought they looked the mutts nuts.
