Re: "Hoods"

The photos aren't showing - can you repost? We are the UK dealers for Anderson Composites - they supply three different hoods for S197. The stock replacement hood uses the existing hardware to secure it (no bonnet pins required) The cost from us is £880 inc VAT (collected from Colchester) http://cdn...

Re: New grille for Bullitt

Added the SHR lower grille inserts A, because they look good and B, they help hide the metal support for the chin spoiler. Next up - a lick of paint for that very chin spoiler in question. Then ready for LeMans :) http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q627/reetu_jain/SHR%20lower%20grille%20inserts_zps...

Thanks Nick, I'm going to hang onto the original grille just in case in a fews months/years i get fancy another change!
Thats its for a while now on the Bullitt. The convertible needs a bit of love now!!
Next up for the Bullitt will be a new hood at some point. The dreaded rust is setting in!

Sorry I couldn't make it. I didn't get home until 4am and was certainly in no fit state to drive! :pidu :D

Fingers crossed for next time.

Surely Berkshire must have the best 'meets' with regards to number of cars of all the counties?

I didn't even use one can! I do believe I need to re-do mine though, I think the pressure washer got a little close. Just do more coats than you think you need. Can't go too far wrong IMO :)

Hopefully the weather will cheer up enough soon for me to have a go at this.

On that note the book 'Go like Hell' is an excellent read, one of the best books I've have read!!!

I understand they are making a movie about it as well

Re: White letter tyres

You know I'm getting swayed. Thanks for info on TredWear but If I do I'm going down the paint route. Few things to do first but it will be done before LeMans for sure!!!

Surely if a mini can get away with it, an american 'muscle' car can??? Has anyone tried this and if so any chance of a pho...
